In this Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 review, Rockstar Games, the name of the developer who is widely known from the Grand Theft Auto franchise, has always had a consistent track record over the past decade.
Not only have they succeeded in creating PS5 games with quality standards, but they also always take advantage of the opportunities that exist to create ambitious games and become big hits in the market.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 Review – The Main Mission
Most developers would consider it a difficult challenge, but for Rockstar it has become the main mission that must be realized.
After successfully getting great success from Grand Theft Auto V which set a record as the biggest release in the entertainment industry of all time, this time Rockstar has released another ambitious game called Red Dead Redemption 2.
Present as a prequel to the first series released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption 2 tries to offer the concept of the most immersive and realistic open world game ever. With more than seven full years of development time, this game is finally officially on the market.
Some of you must have known that this game has received a lot of perfect reviews, resulting in a fantastic income of up to USD 725 million in just three days since it was marketed. But when it comes to quality, everyone has their own opinion, including us who are curious about the quality of the game.
After playing it for the past week, we have finally gotten enough impressions to make a review. Both the positive and negative sides have been summarized here, so instead of being curious, you can immediately see the full review below.
The Plot of Red Dead Redemption 2
Before reviewing the game more deeply, of course you have to get a clear picture of the storyline that this game has to offer. So as previously explained, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel that takes a time setting before the original series.
Focusing on the main character named Arthur Morgan, this game will take you in the story of Arthur and members of the Van Der Linde gang led by Dutch to survive in the wild land of America.
Their journey is certainly not easy, because apart from having to find a place to take refuge and unite the rest of the gang, Arthur and the Dutch group have to do various jobs to supply finances. Here we are talking about the lives of the outlaws, so robbery and so on have become breakfast in this game.
The story itself is quite simple and is still supported by a background that will make you more curious, such as the big conflict faced by the Dutch and O’driscoll groups in the Blackwater area.
Survive and find meaning for yourself, these are the two main impressions that we managed to get from the whole story. Talking about the delivery of the storyline, the nature of every character in this game deserves a thumbs up.
Not only does it have unique characteristics that are supported by high-quality voice actors, but each character also has a dominant role in building the storyline.
Of all the games that we have played, you could say Red Dead Redemption 2 is the only game that makes us care about the fate of the Van Der Linde members like their own family.
So just like most gamers who are immediately tempted by the ambitious open world concept, we are honestly very amazed by what Rockstar did for this Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 review.
The size of the map of the New Hanover region which is the center of the game is indeed very wide and filled with a variety of areas that include dense forests, snowy mountains, deserts, swampy areas, to inland cities such as Valentine and St.
Denis is more modern. The first chapter does feel slow and you are not given absolute freedom other than following the storyline. But after your gang members manage to escape from the fierce snowy mountains and set up a camp, from there you will be given complete freedom to do anything.
